Clinton Planning Board approves Greeley Street site plan, delays Chestnut Street residential conversion. The board voted unanimously Tuesday to approve a site plan for 32 Greeley Street after owner Jefferson Gould announced the demolition of an on-site barbershop, bringing parking to 29 spaces against a zoning requirement of 24 to 25. The board also swiftly approved a 130-square-foot externally illuminated sign permit for 521 Main Street, the O'Malley Sunoco property.

A special permit request from Elia Monda Cacolari and Albert Lika to convert the oversized first-floor unit at 248-250 Chestnut Street into two apartments — creating a three-family dwelling — was continued to March after members said the submitted plans labeled spaces only as "room" and failed to show kitchen placements, bathroom locations, or bedroom counts; the board also flagged that the roughly 16,170-square-foot lot may fall short of the 24,000-square-foot minimum required for a three-family in the R1 district.
