Planning Board · Meeting of September 2, 2026
Clinton Planning Board approves golf-simulator social club, endorses Chase Street farm lot split. The board voted 4-0, with one member abstaining, to approve applicant Patrick Gilroy's site plan for a golf-and-baseball simulator social club at 99-101 Parker Street, capped at 99 occupants to avoid a sprinkler retrofit, ahead of a September 23 Select Board liquor license hearing. Members separately endorsed an Approval Not Required plan presented by David Sadowski of DJ and Associates, cutting a three-quarter-acre, 167-foot-frontage lot from a 30-plus-acre Chase Street farm.
The board pressed a 1042 Main Street property owner to produce a recordable site plan showing parking for three separate tenants, roofing, auto repair and auto body, after finding the building's original approval covered only a single warehouse use. "So, I'm trying not to be a dink about it, okay? So, we just got to be on the same page," one member told the tenant.
Members also flagged unresolved compliance issues, including unpermitted construction that drew a Fire Department response and relocated car lifts a member said left a business out of compliance.
