Planning Board · Meeting of October 6, 2026
Clinton Planning Board continued a stalled Main Street site plan review and fielded a parking compromise request from a longtime Allen Street shop owner. Kevin Jarvis, who has run an automotive repair business there for more than 20 years, asked the board to help him avoid a town parking crackdown aimed at neighboring properties, but members said "there's nothing the planning board can do" and directed him to the traffic committee instead. The board also heard a pre-application from Frank McPartland of Dillis and Leroy for a 7 Marshall Street lot owned by Charles Freeman, determining under zoning Section 4130 that the roughly 17,960-square-foot industrial parcel can only support a single-family home.
Separately, the board unanimously voted to continue the 1042 Main Street site plan review after applicant Adelina Weaver failed to appear for a second time, warning it will vote without further delay absent a compliant, engineer-prepared plan. The board also signed off on an Approval Not Required plan splitting a 10 Clamshell Road lot into three.
