Clinton Conservation Commission previews a $12.4 million stormwater reroute and clears a hazardous tree removal. The board heard an informal presentation on redirecting downtown stormwater from Burdett Hill into the Nashua River, part of a broader $12.4 million post-2017-flooding fix the town hopes to fund through a federal Economic Development Administration infrastructure grant. Graham Templeman of Goddard Consulting won a negative determination of applicability to remove five hazardous trees at 3 Craig Drive for applicant Yigar Patel, with commissioners voting unanimously after an arborist flagged a leaning fifth tree.
A Department of Public Works catch-basin repair at 207 Berlin Street was continued to July 23 for a site visit after members said photos made the no-excavation concrete plan hard to assess. The board also approved $458.61 in disputed printer and phone bills, with one member saying "I'm not approving anymore until I get an explanation" about how office costs are being allocated.
