Retirement Board · Meeting of March 31, 2026

CLINTON — The Clinton Retirement Board heard PRIM's year-end investment report and approved a $526,269.34 town warrant. PRIM director of client services Francisco Ganali told the board the statewide pension fund closed 2025 at a record $123 billion, up 12.6 percent net of fees, while Clinton's own $90 million portfolio trailed PRIM over one year but beat it over five and 10 years, 7.8 percent to 7.72 percent and 8.89 percent to 8.83 percent, respectively. The board also approved an Option D death benefit for the husband of late member Karen Pasquale, new hires Jamie Kuhl, Jessica Franco and Brianna Bantler, and directed Administrator Patricia Hazel to draft a response to an Office of Inspector General report on the board's counsel.

Members noted the Finance Committee is weighing a retiree health insurance cost-share change "instead of 60, 40, it'll be 70, 30."
