Clinton High School sets its fall sports parent meeting for Aug. 25 as practices begin the following week.
CLINTON -- Parks and Recreation has added a new act to its concert lineup while Clinton Public Schools locks in the calendar for the start of fall athletics.
TOWN -- Clinton Parks and Recreation has added a new date to its Summer Concert Series, announcing that Mike Mazola will perform Tuesday, September 1, at Central Park, according to the department's website. The regular Summer Concert Series continues on Tuesday nights at Central Park from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The department has also put a save the date on its calendar for a Daughter's Dance on September 27, with details still to be announced.
HIGH SCHOOL -- Clinton Public Schools has set its junior varsity and varsity fall sports parent/guardian meeting for Tuesday, August 25, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Clinton High School auditorium, according to the district's athletics page. CHS junior varsity and varsity fall sports begin Monday, August 24; Clinton Middle School's fall sports start Tuesday, September 8. The district says parents and guardians must register student athletes on Final Forms and complete required trainings, forms and documentation before practices begin. Questions on registration can be directed to Athletic Director Jennifer Gouvin, per the district's site.
