Cultural Council previews 2027 grant timeline

Cultural Council · Meeting of August 13, 2026

CLINTON — The Clinton Cultural Council previewed its fiscal 2027 grant cycle timeline and discussed a new community survey at its August 13 meeting. Co-chair Nina Waddell walked the four members present through state deadlines, including applications opening September 1, an applicant information session September 10, and applications closing October 15. The council agreed to trim a three-page input survey to one page with a QR code after a member warned, "nobody's going to fill it out," and member Louie de Rojas volunteered to build a Google Form version.

Members also planned to staff a table at Old Home Day on September 12 to boost applications after a drop in submissions last cycle, and discussed reviving a spring reception for grant recipients at the Clinton Historical Society. No formal votes were taken.
