COUNCIL ON AGING BOARD · Meeting of May 20, 2026

CLINTON — The Clinton Council on Aging Board reviewed carriage house construction progress and weighed closing the Senior Center early on three dates. The Clinton Home Foundation funded a $30,000 change order for the carriage house, where work began this week on a water line connection; windows are due by June 1 and a door by late June. The director reported balances of $45,000 in a formula grant, $20,000 in revolving programs, and $634,000 in a medical transportation revolving account.

Staff asked the board to approve closing at noon on July 17, August 21 and December 4, saying "at least if we close at 12, my employees can have four hours." The board also pushed its annual officer election to its June meeting and discussed keeping exercise classes limited to Clinton residents due to space constraints.
